Napa Valley Vintners

The Napa Valley Vintners has teamed up with Napa Valley chocolatier Woodhouse Chocolates, located in downtown St. Helena, to create a lot that will pamper you for six+ delicious months with the ultimate in wine and chocolate.

Each month, Woodhouse Chocolates will ship directly to you a selection of some of the most luscious, delectable chocolate, made with the highest-quality cocoa, nuts, cream, butter and spices found, handcrafted into individual works of art - almost too beautiful to eat, but too delicious not to! You'll feel like Charlie winning the golden ticket to Wonka's chocolate factory.

In addition, members of the Napa Valley Vintners will make certain you have the perfect Napa Valley wines to accompany the chocolates by sending you six bottles each month for six months. Some to enjoy with your chocolates with plenty left over to stock your cellar. To sweeten the deal, a lagniappe—a little bonus—of an extra month's shipment of nine bottles to top off your cellar.

Deliveries to be conducted for one seven-month period, to be determined on a mutually agreeable start date.

Anselmo Vigne's vines were planted in 1988 on a rocky knoll in the eastern hillsides of Napa Valley, and produce nearly 300 cases each year. We are pleased to present wines from our third vintage: the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, in a special lot featuring three sizes for your near- and long-term enjoyment. Anselmo Vigne Cabernet Sauvignon in its finest forms are all etched and waxed: one 3L bottle, one magnum and three 750ml.

Atalon Winery invites one fun & wine loving couple to rough it, Atalon style. Spend a weekend at the Atalon Winery in our private guest house in the heart of the pending Calistoga AVA. Located a mile north of the town of Calistoga, our house, pool, tennis court and kitchen will be yours.

Your stay will include a tasting with our winemaker, a tour of the vineyards with our vineyard manager, a dinner prepared by our chef de cuisine and a two-hour-long massage by the pool. All will be tailor-made to fit your own desires.

Chef Joey Altman, three-time James Beard-award-winning host, Food Network celebrity and host of San Francisco's televised KRON 4 "Bay Café" will tantalize the tastebuds of the winning couple and eight of their friends with a complete culinary delight for dinner paired with the wines and winemakers of Beaulieu, Sterling and Provenance. Each couple attending the dinner will receive a beautiful handcrafted pewter wine cooler from L'Orfevreie d'Anjou of France, generously donated by our sponsoring partner in this lot, the "cult" restaurant supplier, Korin Japanese Trading Corp. and its president, Ms. Saori Kawano. Founded in 2003 by Michael Polenske, Blackbird Vineyards is an artisanal producer of Pomerol-inspired wines from the Napa Valley. Planted in 1997, the estate vineyard is located in the heart of the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley - a region appreciated for its moderate climate and deep, gravelly soils. The vineyard's valley floor topography presents optimum growing conditions for winemaker Sarah Gott and winegrower Aaron Pott to produce an elegantly styled, appropriately balanced red wine that offers short- and long-term cellaring potential.

This 2005 Blackbird 3L is one of only 12 produced.
