Napa Valley Vintners' Annual Mid-Winter Barrel Auction for the Trade

One day each year in February, 200 Napa Valley Vintners gather to offer select members of the wine trade the opportunity to taste from barrel and bid on wines created solely for this event, to be bought by only one bidder.

Each of these wines will be a one-of-a-kind blend, variety, appellation, or vineyard or barrel designation unique to the winery, or a collaboration among two or more winemakers. The wines are offered as 5-case, 10-case or 20-case lots at the discretion of the vintner. These futures are released to the winning bidder in 750ml or 1.5L bottles that are individually numbered and specially labeled.

Nowhere else can you obtain these rare wines.

For the trade, Premiere Napa Valley is also a place to rub elbows and compare notes, visit with old friends and make new ones. To see what some of the world's greatest winemakers come up with when all bets are off.
