Afternoon in the Vineyards Attracts 300
Nearly 300 Napa County residents from American Canyon to Calistoga visited with vintners and growers on Saturday, May 13, to learn about farming and vineyard practices, winemaking and more as part of the NVV's annual Afternoon the Vineyards. This year's event was held in cooperation with the Napa Valley Grapegrowers (NVG). NVV and NVG site hosts included Araujo Vineyards in Calistoga; Titus Vineyards in St. Helena; Peju in Rutherford; Beringer Vineyards in Yountville; Trefethen Vineyards and Silverado Properties in Napa; and Nord Family Vineyards in American Canyon.
One resident wrote, "Thank you for arranging this delightful Saturday afternoon! The attendees were all knowledgeable and the presenters were even more so. Learned a lot and my kudos to the vintner who led our group."
